In Greek mythology, a lot of the stories and characters were created to explain a character trait, or tell how something came to be. For example, the goddess "Echo" got upset when Narcissus thwarted her, and she ran away in the forest, and what she repeated him saying became known as an echo.
I think it would be a cool experiment to research- Are there any other stories that are used to explain how an "echo" came to be called that? Do any other cultures use a story to explain that? If you complete some research to find that out, put your findings below. Your research can be related to any of the themes of the myths we read in class at the beginning of quarter 2 to analyze character traits. You can earn 3 class dojo points for every well written paragraph.
